Swan Retro Toaster Review

The Swan Retro Toaster is a two or four slice toaster with a retro flair. Its has a 1950s inspired chic design, and is available in many colours - Black, Blue, Cream, Grey, Orange, Green, Pink, Purpled, Red and Yellow. As well as bread, the Retro Toaster is capable of toasting bagels, muffins, crumpets, croissants, and more. It's perfect for busy family homes, students, hotels, cafes, restaurants, etc.

The Retro Toaster has many practical and useful features. We go into detail soon, but at a glance you get six browning options, a reheat function, a defrost button, a high lift, wide slots, cool touch walls, and more. The four slice version has the ability to run only on two slots, and has two sets of controls, one set for each side.

Let's take a look at the features:

• Variable Browning - There's a browning dial with six settings (one dial for each side on the four slice model). It allows you to choose the optimal colour and crunchiness of your toast. Tanned, light brown, golden brown, dark brown, etc.
• Cool Touch Walls - The toaster has cool touch walls which ensure that excessive heat isn't transferred to your hands when removing the toast.
• Defrost / Reheat / Cancel - There are three buttons on the side of the toaster. "Defrost" allows you to toast bread straight from the freezer, "Reheat" allows you to warm up toast that has cooled down too much and "Cancel" stops the toasting cycle. The four slice toaster has two sets of these options, one for each side.
• Auto-Centring - The automatic centring ensures your toast gets an even brown.
• Wide Slots - The wide slots can accommodate a large range of other items such as bagels, muffins, crumpets, croissants, etc.
• High Lift - A high lifting mechanism allows you to easily remove toast from the slots.
• Independent Sides - For the four slice toaster, there are two independent sides which allow for 4 slices to be toasted at the same time.
• Removable Crumb Tray(s) - There's a convenient removable crumb tray underneath each pair of slots. The two slice toaster has one tray, and the four slice toaster has two trays.
