The Haden Salcombe Toaster is a stylish four slice retro toaster. It has a stainless steel body and is available in two colour schemes - Black and Cream & Copper. Both have a retro feel to them which makes them suitable for kitchens with a classic style. Despite its retro appearance, it's very much a modern toaster with plenty of modern features.

Its features include two adjustable browning dials, self-centring guides to help give your toast an even brown, deep toasting slots with variable widths, a high lift, a removable crumb tray, a reheat button, a defrost capability and more. We go into more detail later.

The features are as follows:

• Adjustable Browning Control - The toaster has adjustable browning control. The browning covers wide ground in the sense that it can provide faint/pale brown toast, golden brown toast and very dark and crunchy toast. There are two of these dials, one for each side.
• Defrost / Reheat / Cancel - The toaster has two sets of these three buttons, one for each side. "Defrost" takes frozen bread and turns it into non-soggy warm bread ready for toasting. "Reheat" warms up toast that has cooled down. "Cancel" stops the toasting cycle midway through.
• Dynamic Slots - The slots are deep to fit taller items. They also have an adjustable width to facilitate the toasting of larger items such as crumpets and bagels.
• High Lift - To easily remove smaller items (such as bagels), the toasting lever is capable of a high lift.
• Self-Centring Guides - The guides will automatically self-centre to help provide an even brown.
• Removable Crumb Tray - There's a crumb tray underneath the toaster. It's easily removable for emptying.
• Cord Storage - There's a place to store left over electrical cord underneath the toaster.
