Breville High Gloss Toaster Review

The Breville High Gloss Toaster is a two or four slice toaster with a beautiful white glossy finish, and metal panels with a perforated design. It's a sleek and stylish toaster that is ideal for modern kitchens. The features are wide ranging too. Our favourite is the variable browning control which allows you to fine tune your toast to your specification.

The toaster is equipped with variable width slots to accommodate larger items such as crumpets and bagels, and it also has a high lift feature to easily remove oddly shaped items such a bagels. One feature we particularly like is the Lift & Look function which allows you to take a sneak peak at your toast without interrupting the toasting. The High Gloss Toaster also features the usual defrost, reheat and cancel options.

The features are as follows:

• Browning Control - There are six browning control options with varying degrees of browning and crunchiness. Whether you prefer slightly crispy toast or toast with a crunch, this toaster is capable. The four slice toaster has two of these dials, one for each side.
• Lift & Look - The toaster makes use of a Lift & Look function. This essentially means that you can lift the toast up to check how it's doing without cancelling the toasting cycle.
• Variable Width Slots - The toaster's slots can be adjusted for the toasting of larger items such as bagels, crumpets, and even thicker slices of bread.
• High Lift - To facilitate the easy removal of smaller items, this toaster is capable of a high lift.
• Defrost / Reheat / Cancel - The toaster has these three options, whose buttons illuminate whilst active. "Defrost" turns frozen bread into warm dry bread ready for toasting. "Reheat" quickly warms up toast which has cooled down without starting a full toasting cycle. "Cancel" stops the toasting midway. The four slice toaster has a second set of these buttons for the other side.
• Removable Crumb Tray - There's a crumb tray underneath the toaster. It slides out for emptying.
