Tower Cavaletto Toaster Review

The Tower Cavaletto Toaster is a two or four slice toaster with a signature Tower design. It's primarily a stainless steel toaster, although there are elements of rose gold on the browning dial, the buttons and the toasting lever. There are four colour available - Black, Grey, Marshmallow Pink and Midnight Blue (pictured).

From a feature perspective, the Cavaletto Toaster is well equipped. It's available as a two slice or a four slice toaster to suit your needs. It has plenty of options, including a defrost button for toasting frozen bread, a reheat button to give a quick blast of heat, a cancel button to stop the toasting midway through, and six browning levels for optimal taste and texture.

The features are as follows:

• Variable Browning - There's a browning function which aims to give you full control over the texture and colour of your toast. It's capable of a very light brown, to full on dark and crunchy, if that's your thing. The four slice model has two of these dials, one for each pair of slots.
• Defrost - There's a defrost function which is able to toast bread straight from the freezer without making it soggy. The four slice toaster has a defrost button each side.
• Reheat - If your toast has cooled down, or you want to heat something up quickly, there's a "Reheat" button. There's two such buttons on the four slice toaster.
• Cancel - A cancel button is available to stop the toasting midway. Again, the four slice toaster has two of them.
• Cord Storage - Extra electrical cable can be stored under the toaster so as not to clutter up your worktops.
• Removable Crumb Tray(s) - There's a removable crumb tray underneath the toaster which is designed to make cleaning easy and simple. There are two of these trays under the four slice toaster.

The Tower Cavaletto Toaster is, in our view, up to standard. It offers plenty of choice design wise, with four colour schemes available, and the choice of two or four slices. Its defrost function is convenient as you need not defrost bread beforehand - just begin the toasting, nice and easy. It also offers six browning options, so you can toast your bread just how you like it. Overall, a solid toaster which we rate 4.5 out of 5 stars.
