Dualit Domus Toaster Review

The Dualit Domus Toaster is a two slice toaster available in Grey (pictured) or Black & Stainless Steel. It's a fairly compact toaster with smooth curves and neatly positioned controls. One of its main features is Dualit's patented "Perfect Toast Technology". This basically means that there's a sensor inside the toaster which measures the internal heat and adjusts the energy output to ensure a consistent toast.

The Domus Toaster is packed with features. They include extra long toasting slots to fit bread sideways at up to 14cm long, toasting right to the edges, a bagel function, a defrost function, a high lift, a sneak peek mechanism, nine levels of browning control, and much more. About Dualit

Dualit began selling kitchen appliances in 1945. They have several "Collections" available which consist of toasters, kettles, sandwich cages, warming racks, and similar. They're a well known and popular brand in the UK.

The features are as follows:

• Browning - The toaster offers 9 browning options. Whether you prefer faint brown, golden brown, or dark brown, this toaster has the capability. It will also toast right up to the edges.
• Perfect Toast Technology - Most other toasters will toast darker if used straight after a previous run. The Domus Toaster is different, as it's fitted with a sensor which adjusts the energy output depending on the surrounding temperature.
• Peek & Pop - The toaster has a patented "Peek & Pop" function. It means that you can take a quick look at your toast mid-cycle without stopping the toaster.
• High Lift - To facilitate the easy removal of smaller items such bagels, the toaster has an extra high lift.
• Extra Long Slots - The toaster is capable of toasting bread up to 14cm in length. This allows bread to be toasted sideways.
• Defrost / Bagel - "Defrost" will heat up a frozen slice of bread to make it ready for toasting. "Bagel" will toast one side of a bagel, and warm up the other. These buttons illuminate whilst active.
• Removable Crumb Tray - There's a removable crumb tray underneath the toaster to keep your worktop clear.
• Cord Storage - Excess cable can be stored inside of the toaster.
